"27 Dresses" Review

It's a MUST SEE movie for you all of you who are like me and love Romantic Comedies! I found it to be as interesting and comparable to "Sweet Home Alabama", "The Holiday" with Cameron Diaz, and one of my all time favorites "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." It was a great story line with very funny moments ending in a true love story.

Here is a site to find out more about the movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0988595/

If anyone else has seen the movie I would love to hear what you think!

Nick and Jessica are having a Boy!

Congratulations to the Enders who just found out they are having a boy! They are due on June 14th. Another playmate for Baby Balster, even though they are hundreds of miles away in CA. Now I get to buy boy clothes and toys!! YEH!

Amanda and Eric are having a Girl!

How exciting!! I've already started buying cute little girl outfits and planning for what all to get for the shower. I love baby showers!! I had so much fun throwing my friend Rebecca's baby shower at my house. If anyone would like to me throw them one, just let me know!! Anyway, back to VIVIAN, what an adorable name! I am so excited to meet little Vivian after June. To keep tabs on little Vivian, visit the "Amanda and Eric" link to the left.

Congratulations Chacks!

Week 14

This week's big developments: Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him — a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb. In other news: Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces.

"The Girls"

Here are the latest and greatest photos of our pooches. Macy (Moo-Moo), a puggle, is the oldest at 3. Rory (Roo-Roo), a lab, is one year behind at 2. You can see by their nicknames above the rolls they play in the house. Rory listens and causes little trouble and then there is Macy, AKA Trouble. She is little miss spoiled and the one we are worried about for when the baby comes. I am reading up on what to do and not to do with spoiled dogs when there is a new addition to the family. We love our bitches!!

He's always up to something...

I came home today from shopping with my mom to a newly destroyed master bathroom. Mr. Fix-it is off to his next project after just finishing our spare bedroom/office to make room for the upcoming nursery (that design is on hold for another month or two). It looks like we are redesigning the bathroom with new and updated tile for the shower and floor. I have to say it will be a step up from the pink tile we had before! I'll keep you updated on the end result.

Notre Dame or Ohio State?

Right now, Matt and I have agreed that if we are having a boy he will be an Irish fan and if we're having a girl she will or can be a Buckeyes fan. So we'll see what happens but we're prepared with both outfits for now. I truly think whatever the sex they can be both. Kind of like me, Buckeyes first, Notre Dame second. It will be interesting to see with age what team the child will truly root for. Will they go with their home town team and root for scarlet and gray OR will they be a rebel and go with their daddy and root for the Irish?!? Time will tell!

Week 13

How your baby's growing:Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

Our first ultrasound

There's our little alien!! We went to our first ultrasound on January 7th when I was approximately 11 weeks. Everything suddenly became so real. It was so exciting to see the movement and the little heartbeat. I can't wait to see the one at 20 weeks. And YES we are finding out the sex of the baby and I am so excited!! We go back February 4th for our 16th week appointment. Our doctor is amazing by the way!!
