May 4th is the big day
So, I might have said back in the day that we were NOT going to find out the sex of this baby. Wellllll.............might have changed our minds. ;) May 4th is the big day. The 20 week (actually start of the 21st week) appt to see our little baby, find out the sex and hopefully hear great news of his/her health. I'll update everyone that evening!
During the tough times come words of encouragement
Up and Down, Up and Down. That's what I feel like each week, each day. I'm super positive and then I'm super bummed. Can't stop thinking about the amazing Mom that I have and the road to come. I'll think about the funeral and then I'll think about us in 15 years sitting there laughing about what could have been and what is. We could all live for 20 more years, 50 years, or 1 year. It's God's plan and we have no control over what will happen. We all know this but it smacks you in the face when someone you love could be losing their life. Situations like this remind you that you need to live every day to the fullest and like it's your last. We need to tell the ones we love how much we love them. We need to live the life we love. We need to be surrounded by the best people we know and weed out the bad. We need to be positive to others and to ourselves. We need to help change the world even in little bitty ways. Let's stop with the pitty me attitudes and get out there and take the stinkin' bull by the horns people! I've been taught this mentality by an amazing person who has lived her life this way. Love it or hate it, it's genuine and contagious! Let's be the best we can be and live the life we want to live. Life is WAY too short!

What an amazing support group my Mom has. This journey is going to be hard but much easier because of the love and support everyone is showing. It's just absolutely amazing, inpiring, encouraging, etc. Any word you can think of!! :)
