Some Bucyrus Baby Shower Pictures

Thanks to Mom, Maw-Maw, Aunt Lisa, Chris and to anyone else who helped out with the Baby Shower. I loved it!!! It was so great to see everyone and celebrate the new little addition to the family. We can't wait (especially me for all the reasons you can imagine) for him to get here!! Thanks everyone for all your support!!

Go Maw-Maw go!!

Biker Chick at heart!!

Maxton's Teddy Bear

Meet Bruce the Bear....

Bruce, named after Jay Bruce of the Cincinnati Reds (Daddy picked out that name), was created with love at the Build-A-Bear Workshop. I hadn't thought of doing that until I went to Easton shopping with Aunt Lisa, Kenzie and Adriana. Adriana ended up making Mocha the Monkey and while I was in there I thought what a great gift for Maxton. So I ended up making Maxton's first Teddy Bear, which I think is a really cool idea. Our moms couldn't have said that back in the day! I ended up doing all the things that the little kids do too. Like jumping up and down, spinning around, kissing the heart and making a wish. It was so funny! And of course we had to get Bruce an oufit which had to be the Cinci Reds.

School's "In" For Summer!!

Guess who is going back to college?? MATT! Matt starts his first class next week at Columbus State Community College. He will be going back for his Associates Degree in Engineering. This degree will help him to advance at Franklin County Engineer's Office. It will be a few years until he is complete, ok, like 4-5, but it will be well worth it once he is done. I think he's excited to go back. So if you talk to him, wish him luck on his upcoming classes!!

Thanks Matt...

  • For the package of 3 massages you got me
  • For cleaning the house all the time
  • For landscaping the yard so nicely
  • For powerwashing and re-painting the back deck
  • For powerwashing and painting the garage floor
  • For seeding the grass with a machine
  • For painting four rooms in the house over the past few months
  • For setting up the Nursery
  • For getting us a new water heater and installing it successfully
  • And for giving me more leg and back rubs lately since Maxton suggested it awhile back

You exhaust me!!! Anyone else have an overly active husband? Amanda, I know you can relate! I wouldn't have it any other way by the way :)

34 Week Picture

Having fun in the mirror with the camera!

Hospital Tour

Matt and I went on our hospital tour tonight at Riverside Methodist Hospital. That is where we will be around the date of July 23rd. There were probably about 6 other couples on the tour with us. I was so curious as to when there estimated delivery date is. It's funny how all of our bodies are so different and how we carry differently when pregnant. Some women high, some low, and some huge!! I think a couple of them were having twins. As I looked around, I think I was one of two that had swolen feet and ankles. Two out of Six!!! I still have 6 weeks to go! But that's ok, just gives me a reason to go shoe shopping!! woo-hoo!

Our Two Year Anniversary

Matt and I had our two year anniversary this week on Tuesday, June 10th. I can't believe it has been two years already. Time flies when you have a great husband!!! I wish I could clone Matt and share the love with everyone, but I can't. Feel free to be jealous! JK :)

We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Hyde Park, where we dove into our filet mignons that just melted in our mouths. The mashed potatoes are to die for, which you all know are my fav!!! Then the waiter topped off the evening with a free chocolate mousse dessert. Yum!

I don't know if you remember the Rose Ceremony we did during our wedding?? We exchanged our first two red roses that day and decided to keep that tradition going throughout our marriage if we wanted to tell each other "I love you" or "I'm sorry". I bet we have given each other maybe 6-8 red roses between the two of us in the last two years, and will always do so on our anniversary. I love when you don't even have to mention something and it just happens. We both arrived with two red roses on Tuesday after work! I love him.

Thank Heaven for Jamie Johnson!!!

For two reasons, I am loving my friend Jamie this week. Jamie arrived on Saturday into Columbus from the Orlando area where she currently resides. She was able to book an interview up here on Monday and therefore could come to my baby shower. It was soo great that she could make it (which originally I thought "no way!")! Well she had her interview on Monday and got the job like 30 minutes after her interview!!! I'm so excited that she is moving up here and we will get to hang out so much more often! I know Kelli and Amanda are going to be jealous that I will be getting a lot of Jamie Johnson time, but I don't know what to tell them! :) So Jamie will be here in Aug, Yeh!

Secondly, thank Heaven for Jamie Johnson, because she was here at the house on Tuesday morning (after Matt and I left for work) when our water heater decided to break and start flooding our basement!!!! We NEVER have anyone here when we are at work (don't tell anyone that :) ) except for our dogs of course, and on the one day out of the year she is here the water heater trys to destroy our basement. Jamie was totally meant to stay with us this week!! Thanks Jamie!! You saved us thousands of dollars I'm sure by catching the leak.

NEWS...NEWS...NEWS

I think we have decided on the name MAXTON as our little guy's name. This could possibly change, doubt it, but could if you know my pregnant brain indecisiveness! We have already started calling him Maxton so you may now also :) Yeh!!

Congratulations to the Enders' and the Chack's
