Cute Cousins

Last Thursday, Mom (and Great Ma-ma June) took Maxton and Marcus to get their pictures taken. From the sounds of it, they were surprised to even get these good shots. She says she'll never do that again without Katie or I. hahahaha Here are some cute pics of them in their Buckeye gear (Matt doesn't love this at all) and in their Sunday's finest. So cute!

Trick or Treat

Here's our little Monkey!! He finally got use to that hat but didn't love it half the time and was trying to yank it off! He was so cute though!
Here's Maxton with his lady friends; Natalie, Camryn, Kylie and Kaitlyn

Here's our family Halloween picture

Here's Maxton and Natalie getting their smooch on. They must have kissed 5-6 times! With my prompting of course! :)

Do you see a Monkey in these leaves? (As a side note, I started to get really angry with my camera about this point!!! I could not get it to focus! Finally after playing with it a little, I figured something out! Argh)

Here is little baby Ella with Mommy Jen. Maxton can say Ella and it is so cute. Jess, I know you would be proud! haha

Here he is with Christy his Tuesday sitter

Finally, we got back home to pass out candy and the neighbors stopped by and hung out for awhile. This is Sophia and Micah. We love our play buddies!
So cute!
First time having a sucker and he likey!
Want some?
Yummmm....

And of course he dropped his sucker in that mulch below and put it back in his mouth before Mommy could get there! lol By the second time, I was just like- Whatever! Mulch + Sucker = Yum!

Pumpkin Patch

We found an awesome Pumkin Patch southwest of Columbus called Circle S. It has everything! Hayride, Straw Barn with slides, Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Sunflower Maze, a strawstack maze for kids, a Bakery and many other things to keep kids occupied. It was great. We plan to make it an annual tradition. Circle S is right near one of Matt's work buddies farms so we stopped there first. Here is Maxton riding on his Tractor. He LOVED it! He also liked seeing his goats and chickens. He was kind of scared in the chicken coop though (I was too I'm not going to lie!)

Here he is sitting in the straw in the barn

Daddy and Maxton walking on the straw. It was hard to walk on especially for him!

On the "hayride" going to find our perfect pumpkin!

Maxton said Alright where's MY pumpkin!!

Still haven't found that perfect pumpkin yet!

I think I found it Mom!!

And at last, here's our perfect pumpkin. Just his size!!

Cavs/Celtics Game

Maxton lovin' on the Ladies. When this Cav Girl walked up Maxton put his hand on her boob. haha
I think Matt said this was Weber, I could be wrong. He's good though!
Here's Shaq!! Yay!
Well, Date Night turned into Family Fun Night at the Cavs/Celtics Game. Our babysitter came down with the Flu and had to cancel. We couldn't find anyone at last minute so we decided to take him with us. He did really good at the game. When the crowd would yell, Maxton would yell. When the crowd would clap, Maxton would clap. LOL. At the beginning, all we heard was BALL, BALL, BALL! He loved watching the players and the crowd on the big jumbo screen too. We were 5 rows behind the hoop, such good seats! We had a great time. It was fun to see LeBron and Shaq in person finally. One more box checked off of my "Life Must-Do List"- A Cavs game. And of course while getting the little man's bag around I forget the Camera!! ahhh! So all the pics are from my cell phone. And the one of LeBron won't send from my phone, I'll try and add later.

Origin of Maxton's name

I got tagged! Amanda Chack tagged me to create a post about Maxton's name so here it goes.

When Matt and I were considering names we instantly agreen upon a girl's name in the beginning. We found out that boys names were a little harder for us to agree upon. I think If we both would have had it our way, Maxton would be Liam for myself and for Matt he would be Chase. But I'm glad we decided upon Maxton because he is SUCH a Maxton!! Or for short, for sure a MAX (down the road ;) )! I found the name Maxton on a baby names website when I was about 6-7 months pregnant. We agreed upon 3 names, Maxton, Chase and Trevon. We asked a few family members and close friends their opinions and then decided from there.

The Origin of the name Maxton is English. The meaning is "From Maccus' Town". It was originally an English Surname. Closest name to Maxton is Maxwell.

Costume Party...

A couple was invited to a swanky costume party. The Mrs. got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone. He being a devoted husband protested, but she argued and said she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need for his good time being spoiled by not going. So he took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, awakened without pain and, as it was still early, decided to go the party.. Since her husband did not know what her costume was, she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him. She joined the party and soon spotted her husband cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice woman he could, and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there. His wife sidled up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his current partner high and dry and devoted his time to the new babe that had just arrived. She let him go as far as he wished, naturally, since he was her husband. Finally, he whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed. So off they went to one of the cars and had a quickie. Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away, went home, put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make for his behavior. She was sitting up reading when he came in, and she asked what kind of a time he had. He said: "Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're not there." - "Did you dance much ?" - "I'll tell you, I never even danced one dance. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guys, so we went into the den and played poker all evening. But you're not going to believe what happened to the guy I loaned my costume to...."
