Little M's Stats

So everything went really well at the Doctor's today. He is weighing in at.....wait for it.....wait for it.....20 pounds 8 ozs (90-95%) and is 27 inches long (75%). Maxton was a champ at taking 3 shots today!! He got the Flu shot too now since he is 6 months. Mommy still needs to get it...shhh. Here is what Little M thinks of getting 3 shots....
Now since he is only a pound and a half away of outgrowing the infant seat, I think I am going to do the ole switch-a-roo later this week from Infant to Convertible seat. I have to go out and get him more shoes though for the winter. Anyone know of a good place to find those soft sole shoes for not so expensive?? Here's M's new winter coat... so cute! (little big, but works)
Q: Also, for you mommies who have been through this, what convertible seat did you pick and do you like it, what do you like and what don't you like? I bought the Evenflo Liberty that goes from 5 lbs to 100 lbs, all in one, but haven't tried it out yet. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!!

Max...Mischief & Mayhem

Love this shirt! I think it is very telling of the future! lol Thanks Jessica for the cute shirt for Maxton. I can't get the picture to turn the right way, so sorry, you'll have to look sideways :) The other picture is just cute!

My Little Bugaboo is SIX months old!

Maxton celebrated his half birthday on Friday. He amazes us every day. He has us laughing as much as we have him laughing. He has the cutest chuckle now! He has been sitting for the last couple of weeks on his own. No more toppling over or head crashes for him. He'll just sit in the middle of the living room and play with all of his toys that sing, talk and light up. He's also a curious little thing. Always looking around and interested in everything. Absolutely loves Rory. I think he prefers Rory over Macy because she is so much bigger. But he is definitely intrigued by Rory following her every move and getting so excited when she comes near him with all of his leg and arm flailing that he does. We go to the Doc tomorrow. I can't wait to hear his stats. He is such a big boy! I can't believe he is only 6 months old and I'm shopping in the next section of clothes already for 12 month olds!!! All of the pants, shirts and coat I bought today are 12 months. He is already getting ready to out grow his 9 months clothes. We are also experimenting with 2nd stage foods. He loves Hawaiian Delight, just like his mother!! And his favorite veggie is Squash, believe it or not. The next big thing for Maxton will be moving up to the big boy seat. Once I talk to the doctor tomorrow and he thinks its ok, I think we are going to put in the convertible car seat and switch him over this week. His feet go right to the edge of his infant seat and he is also getting so heavy to carry. I think we're ready for the hat, gloves, and winter coat in the big boy seat versus the warm cover we put on the infant seat. Oh, our little boy is growing so fast. He amazes us every day with his curiosity, his fun personality and contagious laughter. We love you Punkin!!!

The Beckstedt Wedding

Not this weekend, but last weekend, our friends Robb and Susan got married. We've been looking forward to this weekend for quite awhile to spend with some of our good friends. It was also great to be able to hang out with Matt in a fun atmosphere as it seems like he's had basketball or has been plowing snow for like ever! We had a great time at the Rehearsal dinner. I've attached some pictures for you to witness the good time. I also remember getting down and ghetto with the "Westside" shout out as you'll see. (As a side note- That's the first time since pre-baby that I went to the restroom in a bar, and It was so hard to do the pee-pee pose where you don't sit- ya know. I am so out of shape! I almost had to touch the seat!)

I also felt out of it and old, when I stopped drinking beer at the reception and asked for Coffee (what!?!) and then spiced it with some Bailey's. That was a first! I just don't have it like I use to. But even though I felt like I couldn't hang with the big dogs anymore, I held my own by closing the bar down on Friday night and staying until the end of the wedding reception. Hold the applause please. I even woke up with Maxton Sunday morning at 6:00 am like a true champ. And of course he picks that day to change up his routine and not wake up at 7:30. Little rascal!

Anyway, CONGRATS Robb and Susan. Thanks for a great time!!

Bad Macy!

This fat dog will eat anything!!! I had packed cereal powder and formula powder in a bowl to take to Grandma Pat's. Macy got in the bag, ate through the seran wrap, and ate Maxton's formula/cereal powder. It was so funny because it clumped up in her mouth and she was chomping trying to eat it. She is SO fat. I don't know what we are going to do when Maxton's a toddler! Here is what she looked like...

Visit with The Moyers

We were able to catch up with the Moyer's and exchange presents between the kids. Those girls are growing up so fast!! We had lots of fun playing with the Wii and Wii Fit. We don't have a Wii so we use other people's anytime we can! haha I have to say my forearm was a little sore the next day!! Great to see you guys and look forward to coming to visit again to play more wii, I mean to see you...the friends we love. :)
